A land with no signs

There's been some radio silence over the past couple of weeks due to a move out of London to Guernsey. That's coincided with a move from agency land into freelance consulting for clients direct as well as agencies across the UK. As the dust begins to settle on a hectic couple of weeks, so the posts will return, with maybe a few more rural observations than previously. So here's one to kick it off - road clutter, there is none on this island - maybe the National Parks could take a leaf out of Guernsey's book and do away with all but the most important signs - especially given the widespread use of Sat Nav technology and increasingly smartphone navigation systems utilised by drivers. It seems like a good opportunity to use technology to reduce messaging in the real world rather than adding to it.

Say less, get noticed more.
